Entry deadline for the Young Songwriters' 2008, A Songwriting Contest for Gallatin Valley Youth. Ten contest winners will have the opportunity to record their original compositions for inclusion in the 2nd Annual HMDSS Young Songwriters' Compiliation CD.Click here for more info.

Camp EPIC, Musical Fusion for Bands. Camp is open for young musicians entering grades 6-12 to develop and explore their musical skills and interests in a week long hands-on improvisational, compositional and performance camp.Click here for more info.

3rd Annual Silver Celebration and FundraiserThis black tie event is HMDSS's flagship fundraising. Hosted by Bozeman's own John Parkes, this event features fine cuisine, stellar performances by many area musicians including The Glen Johnston Swing Band and Blueshoes, Bozeman's youngest and brightest jazz combo, and most importantly showcases the young musicians in our community who benefit from the efforts of HMDSS.
