HMDSS announces Camp EPIC, Musical Fusion for Bands to be held June 9-13, on the campus of Heritage Christian School in Bozeman.
Led by Montana State University professor and director Shuichi Komiyama, Camp Epic will allow young musicians entering grades 6-12 the opportunity to develop their musical skills and explore their unique musical interests through master classes and small ensemble settings, with an emphasis on improvisation, composition and performance. Campers playing guitar, bass, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, trombone or precussion are encouraged to apply. Bands will be assembled by the camp director based on instrument, experience, desired musical style, etc... and will perform in an end of the camp concert.
